Just like that, the first week of the new year is almost done.
I woke up and went for my reservist training today as usual. The only difference was I get to leave the camp at 5pm instead of 5.30pm.
I also got to see for myself when is my next reservist training.
After my training, I went to meet up with my friend for dinner at Sushi Bar. Because my training ended early and I took the downtown line to town, I reached at about 6 instead of the originally planned time of 6.30pm.
So I went to Starbucks and have a cup of earl grey tea while I waited for my friend to arrive. I also spent the time to play Sky Force: Reloaded on my phone.
I had my usual Kaisen Chirashi Don. We also had Chawanmushi and a dragon roll.
After the dinner, we went home just like that. There was just nothing to do. Once home, I spent some time catching up on TV shows that I have missed and just chilling.
How I feel
I’m feeling pretty good though tired.
One other thing that is on my mind is regarding the Apple’s battery issue. After reading quite a number of articles and arguments like this, this, this, this, this, and even this, the conclusion is pretty clear to me. I feel confident Apple didn’t intentionally make us upgrade our phones by slowing down older phones. The keywords being “didn’t intentionally”.
Lastly, I am not convinced that a company will intentionally put themselves in a position to lose tens of billions of dollars in sales, damage other things that are also important to them (brand, image, trust).
